Questions and answers
Do I get charged if the model refuses a request?
Yes, you are charged for all tokens processed by the model, including refusals. If the model generates a refusal response, those output tokens are billed at the standard rate. Only requests blocked by our hard content filter (e.g., sexual content involving minors) are not billed.
Does my prepaid credit expire?
No, your prepaid credit does not expire. It remains in your account until you use it. The only expiration is the 7-day window for the free trial credit. This allows you to top up once and use it over time without pressure.
Can I use my own OpenAI SDK with this pricing?
Yes, our API is OpenAI-compatible. You can use the official OpenAI SDK or any compatible client by updating the base URL and API key. The pricing is applied automatically based on the tokens sent and received through the standard endpoints.
What happens if I use more credit than I have?
Requests will fail once your balance reaches zero. You must top up your account to continue using the API. There are no overage charges or surprise bills. Your spending is strictly limited to the amount you have preloaded.
